Then when we showed up the employee came out immediately and loaded our car up in seconds. This saved us an entire hour out of our Sunday, AND we didn’t wander the store and get tempted by all the unhealthy treats. The most impressive part came when we got home and unloaded our groceries. The produce had obviously been hand picked. Each apple was PERFECT and blemish free, as were the bananas and salads. I highly recommend this service and this location.
The sporting goods fishing section is disorganized and mismanaged. Myself and three of my friends complained to the Sporting Goods manager as well as a general manager about restocking Strike Kings Sweet Tater Pie worms. every other Walmart sells them except for the one in Have3lock, NC. when you talk to management about this and other issues all you get is excuses about how they cant.
We normaly shop at the new bern wal mart but this one was much better!The selves were stocked.We never had a hard time finding an employee for help and they were very helpful and polite.
I find it unacceptable that there isn't a single dressing room open, there was a HANDWRITTEN SIGN from someone saying that a place open 24/7 really isn't open 24/7, and a sales associate couldn't be bothered to help solve the problem in any way. But even more than that, I find it horrible that a MANAGER couldn't be bothered to speak with a customer interested in purchasing items from the business that employs him to resolve the situation. I've worked in multiple retail stores and in each one the motto always was that the customer comes first. Clearly they don't teach that in Havelock.
Great for a Walmart, it's under remodel, and they're moving everything again, which is frustrating when you just need to grab something quick. The other issue is the bathroom. They put it in nice new sinks, but the restroom just isn't kept up, it's always out of paper towels or just plain dirty. The customer service however is always great! I'm.forever grateful for the day my work pants ripped so I ran in to buy a new pair and the lady walked me to the register from the dressing room so I didn't have to walk out exposed in said ripped pants :)
I usually love coming to this Walmart over others in the area because it is kept clean and organized. However, tonight I went in just before 9pm to get a few clothing items since I was in the area. When I went to try on the items I picked out there was a handwritten sign taped to a pole outside that said "Close @ 7:00pm!!" When I went and found a sales associate to ask if there was any dressing room available in any of the sections to try clothing on, she stated that the person who works that section left so they closed at 9pm. I pointed out that there was a handwritten sign that said 7pm on it, which means there really is no official time for them to close. She told me she would get a manager to see what he or she could do but there was one manager left and he was pulling drawers so she can't ask him to come speak to a CUSTOMER.
We have been coming to this Walmart for four years and we love it. Today we tried out Walmart Grocery Pick-Up for the first time and WE LOVED IT. It was so nice to sit at home and get our typical week of groceries. The app was perfect and the shopping was easy and convenient. I didn’t have to drag my husband along, I just asked him flavors and servings for his lunches and there was no hassle.
