Yeah Navy Medicine is different from the civilian world. But I think they do a pretty good job.
I'm a Marine Brat, I grew up with naval medicine, and in almost 60 years, not once has anyone ever been rude to me.
From the review information I am really confused, I'm talking about the Naval Clinic at Cherry Point, not Alcatraz!
First, let me make certain we're talking about the same place.
Much rather go to the ER and wait 3 hours then wait 2 weeks to get an appointment. So unorganized and no one really cares about your wellbeing. It's just a paycheck to them.
Great staff!!! Had a wonderful surgical experience! Our head nurse was awesome! He stayed by my boyfriend's side the entire time to make sure everything was done properly and he was comfortable. :) it was a very invasive knee surgery, so it took the expected amount of time and the doctor did a great job! Even brought pictures to show me what he did and explained the healing process to me directly.
The care is just non-existent. You're better off putting a toothpick under your big toenail and kicking a wall.
Worst experience i've ever had in a doctors office. I truly believe no one in this clinic really cares about my overall health and wellness and it's sad that they provide such low quality care to our troops. If I had any other choice I would never return to this clinic.
