Truck. Newer 16 foot box trucks are great. Compared to past Budget and UHaul trucks the sound system had an AUX in and, while certainly not Bose, was happily able to overwhelm road noise.
Highly recommend Penske, will use them for my next moves.
After being in the military for over 17 years and having to endure the transfer process a couple times, I can honestly say that Ronnie is one of the most professional and hospitable business employee and gentleman I have ever had the opportunity to deal with. He was the first man to call me spontaneously right as I drove into Havelock just to ensure I was OK and to make sure I was aware of his location. He even later advised me to return my trailer once I was in town to save some money on rental fees and gave me the most thorough truck tutorial anyone could provide (which was not done on the initial pick up in California). He is a true gentleman and I look forward to dealing with him regarding my moving needs in the future.

Pricing. Military/AAA pricing is huge. Penske called me back to confirm original quote after I cancelled and came down a significant amount. Ask them what they can do for you pricewise!

Great experience. We reserved a 12 ft Penske truck online. It was less expensive to rent this truck for three days than it was to rent a Mini Van from Enterprise. And there is no extra fee with Penske for one way. The lady at Havelock was very, very, nice and helpful. They gave us a 16 ft truck with a ramp instead of a 12 ft a no extra cost. The truck's seats were very comfortable and it had a outlet for a phone charger. No complaints, 5 stars.
Customer Service. This is where Penske really shines. 100%, every time I called, with brief navigation, I spoke with an enthusiastic Customer Service rep. This is their best selling point, aside from price and product.
