We stay here several times a year. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean. I've never had a problem at this hotel. I've been staying here multiple times a year for the last few years. I highly recommend this hotel. It's not a resort so don't expect that. But it's a nice inexpensive place to stay that's clean and has friendly staff.

Overall, I think this hotel is fine for the price. Getting to the hotel may require a U turn depending on your direction of travel. They offer a lot (breakfast, internet, swimming pool, and weight room). It's also pet friendly, which is why I chose to stay here. My room was located on the first floor and likely close to the smoking rooms, it was a little musty. When walking down the hall it was definitely noticeable. The room itself was fairly clean, the "nook and crannies" could use some attention. Room decor was fine and had outlets that were easy to get to. I imagine the hotel will need to start updating the rooms in the next few years to stay competitive. The room did had a fridge and microwave, for some reason the fridge was pretty loud (I considered unplugging it). This was my first time staying at this hotel and I'd consider staying here again in the future.

I found my stay to be quite nice. The room was very clean as well as the check-in area and all other places. The best thing for me, the staff, they were very friendly and helpful as I was here on business. Definitely would recommend. Look forward to coming back.
i showed up here after already staying in havelock on the marine base for a month, and have been pleasantly surprised! prices are not crazy, and they were more than willing to help me with the pricing. the rooms were clean and nice and comfy (the bed is amazing). to make things better, the manager is so kind and sweet, and guaranteed that if i’m ever in the area again, i’ll be staying there.
